About Us
We believe kids’ clothes should be as bold, playful, and unstoppable as the kids who wear them, clothes that can handle mud puddles, playground chaos, and the ultimate test: “too cool to save for best.”
A Kid Called Ed was born out of both frustration and love, for fashion, for quality, and for my son. I’ve worked in the retail and fashion industry for years, from the fast-paced world of high street to brands built on, and passionate about, a sustainable ethos. I’ve spent my career learning what makes fabrics feel good, fit beautifully, and last longer, and I’ve poured all of that into this brand.
I’ve been drawn to clothes for as long as I can remember, the materials, the construction, the creativity, and the satisfaction of making something well. Becoming a parent only amplified that passion. I wanted to create pieces that respect both the craft and the chaos of childhood; pieces that are thoughtful in design, honest in quality, and made to last.
After countless nap times and late nights, here we are, clothes made to move, play, and tell a story all their own.
Our clothes are made for mischief-makers, built for climbing, running, and everyday adventure, and designed so parents love them just as much as kids do. We choose breathable, high-quality fabrics, work with small factories we trust, and use recyclable, recycled packaging wherever possible. We’re not perfect, but we’re doing our best to care for the resources that will belong to the generations to come.
A Kid Called Ed is about celebrating the messy, creative, chaotic, amazing energy that makes childhood magical, with clothes that feel good, look good, and last long enough to be passed on.
Welcome to our little corner of the internet. We’re so glad you found us.

Our Values
curiosity
We see the world through a child’s eyes — full of wonder, adventure, and wild imagination. Every piece we make is made to climb higher, dig deeper, and dream louder.
craft
Quality matters. We work with small factories that care deeply about what they make, using premium fabrics and thoughtful construction so our clothes last.
conscience
We believe good design shouldn’t cost the earth. From organic fabrics to recycled packaging, we make considered choices every step of the way.
